About OMD!

Your local Force-free, positive Dog Walker and Dog Sitter,

serving Betley and Stoke-on-Trent.

I am a dedicated and experienced Animal lover, offering your pet(s) the best care there is. I am force free and positive, which means I do not believe in telling off, punishing, or using coercive methods on animals. Experience has taught me that rewarding good behaviour, patience and kindness will prevail, and will help me build a relationship with your dog based on love and mutual respect. I am experienced handling reactive pets (that display aggression), for more information please consult my FAQ.
Oh My Dog is covered by a public liability insurance with Simply Business, and I have a DBS (CRB) check.
Whether you need a regular walk or the occasional stroll, a late night check or a few weeks holidays, you can rest assured that your reliable pet carer is only a phone call away. I have at heart the welfare of your dog(s) and will go the extra mile to give you peace of mind!

About me:

Hi, my name is Anais (pronounced “Ah-Nah-Iss”). I left France in 2008 to study Law and Maths at Keele University, Staffordshire. After three years struggling to find an interest in my studies, I decided to drop out and build my life around my passion for dogs. In 2011 I started walking dogs locally, and officially launched Oh My Dog! in 2012. I always try to improve my knowledge and experience of animals, and dogs in particular. I am currently studying Canine
Psychology and Behaviour at Reaseheath College, I have a Certificate in Dog Emotion and Cognition from Duke University, a Certificate in Animal Welfare and Behaviour from the University of Edinburgh and a Certificate in Chicken Behaviour and Welfare from the University of Edinburgh. I also have experience working as a Kennel Maid in Kennels and Cattery, and being an Assistant Trainer for the Kennel Club Good Citizen Award
